Why I Love Cádiz in September
If someone asked me to recommend just one month to visit Cádiz, September would probably be my answer.
After the intensity of August, the city seems to take a deep breath. The beaches are quieter, the temperatures become much more comfortable, and everyday life starts to return to normal. The sea is still wonderfully warm, cafés and restaurants remain busy, and you can enjoy the city without feeling like you’re constantly escaping the heat.
I’ve always thought September gives visitors the best of both worlds. You still get long sunny days and beach weather, but it’s also comfortable enough to wander through the Old Town for hours or sit in a plaza with a coffee without searching for the nearest patch of shade.
