The Genovés Park is one of Cádiz’s most distinctive green spaces, a 19th-century botanical garden overlooking the Atlantic. Its romantic-style gardens combine carefully shaped cypress trees, exotic specimens from around the world, shaded paths and an ornamental pond with a waterfall and grotto.
There is plenty to discover as you wander through the gardens, from the remarkable dragon tree to the unusual, thorn-covered trunk of the Palo Borracho. The park is also recognised as an Asset of Cultural Interest by the Junta de Andalucía and forms part of Andalusia’s protected historic heritage.
