The Teatro Falla, “the house of the blushing bricks,” owes its unique charm to the unusual reddish hue of its façade. Nestled in the El Mentidero neighborhood, it shares the vicinity with other remarkable buildings, including the Casa de las Viudas, or the “House of the Widows.” The Teatro Falla is a splendid specimen of Neo-Mudejar architecture and stands as a “fin de siècle” treasure on the site of the former Gran Teatro de Cádiz.
Not only does it take center stage during the city’s lively carnival in February, but it also hosts a diverse array of performances, encompassing theater, music, dance, and opera.
